Upcycled Vinyl Banner Apron

These vinyl banners are from New Orleans, they are used to promote events in and around the New Orleans area. I've been dumster diving for them for a few years now.

This apron has a fleur de lis design with a bloody mary in the middle and the background of the French quarter.

Great for the kitchen and also perfect for the garden as this is water proof.

Each apron has a bottle opener attached on one side and a 100% cotton cloth attached on the other side.

What a great souvenir!

UP/ Unique Products is located @ 2041 Magazine Street, in the historic Lower Garden District of New Orleans, 10 mins from the French Quarter – easily accessible via car, bus or cab. Street parking available right outside of store and lots of other fun shops and business to visit on the same block.

UP has been illuminating Juan's Flying Burrito restaurant's for the past 10 years by Recycling, Upcycling and Reusing their waste products. Currently on display @ their Magazine location 'NOLA Green Chandelier Show' and @ Mid City 'Mardi Wrestling Masks lights.'

The Bayou Boogaloo Festival. UP was contracted to produce a Eco area, consisting of local green non profits, recycling artists and a free workshop, a T-Party with the public been taught how to reycle used T-shirts on solar powered sewing machines. Read Full Article(PDF)

Heather and Mark met at the many art shows in and around New Orleans and decieded to form UP/ Unique Products because they had the same intrest, recycled artwork. Since then they have committed to educate, demonstrate and showcase their designs and ideas of recycled artwork made from the urban artifacts that they found while either dumpster diving and thrift shopping in the Big Easy.
