Amber squid light

Loved by young and old alike these “ squid” lights are fun in shape and color ( other colors can be ordered by contacting artists direct ) hung on a 8 foot white cord with on/off switch with a 15 watt chandelier base bulb these lights are also hugely popular. This particular squid is mostly amber with all kinds of bright bead highlights with multi- colored bead tentacles.

UP has been illuminating Juan's Flying Burrito restaurant's for the past 10 years by Recycling, Upcycling and Reusing their waste products. Currently on display @ their Magazine location 'NOLA Green Chandelier Show' and @ Mid City 'Mardi Wrestling Masks lights.'

The Bayou Boogaloo Festival. UP was contracted to produce a Eco area, consisting of local green non profits, recycling artists and a free workshop, a T-Party with the public been taught how to reycle used T-shirts on solar powered sewing machines. Read Full Article(PDF)

Heather and Mark met at the many art shows in and around New Orleans and decieded to form UP/ Unique Products because they had the same intrest, recycled artwork. Since then they have committed to educate, demonstrate and showcase their designs and ideas of recycled artwork made from the urban artifacts that they found while either dumpster diving and thrift shopping in the Big Easy.
